One view of the technology behind the whole property.
A hotel depends on far more technology than any guest ever sees. Each part may have its own supplier, but the property still needs the whole environment to work as one operation.
Why property technology gets difficult
Every part has a different supplier
Each one is responsible for their box. Nobody is responsible for the property working.
Faults land on the duty manager
Technology problems get handled by whoever is on shift, at the worst possible moment.
Nothing is documented
Passwords, layouts and dependencies live in people's heads and old email threads.
Upgrades happen in isolation
A new POS or booking system arrives without anyone checking what it needs from the network.
Guest WiFi is treated as a utility
It is designed once, then expected to cope with every device a full property brings.
Nobody has the whole picture
When something serious happens, the first hour is spent working out who to ring.
Everything that has to work at once.
We look at these as one environment, because that is how a guest and a duty manager experience them.
Which part of the property causes the most calls?
Tell us what keeps happening. We will tell you what we would review first.
Review, improve, support.
- 01ReviewOne assessment of the whole technology environment across the property, written plainly, with the risks ranked.
- 02ImproveThe work that matters first. Segmentation, coverage, resilience, backups and the equipment that is past its life.
- 03SupportAn accountable point of contact for the environment, working with your existing suppliers rather than against them.
Some properties need software, not just support.
Where a property or group runs a process that no product covers properly, we build for it. Reporting across sites, operational checks, or something specific to how the business is run.
Questions we get asked
We already have suppliers for WiFi, phones and POS. What would you do?
Look after the environment they all sit in and hold the overall picture. We work with existing suppliers. Often the individual parts are fine and the problem is between them.
Do you replace our PMS or POS?
No. Those are specialist property systems and you should keep the ones that suit your operation. Our job is making sure the technology around them is dependable.
Can this be done without disrupting guests?
Yes, with planning. Work is scheduled around occupancy and events, and anything with a risk of interruption is agreed in advance with a way back.
We are a group with several properties.
That is a good fit. Groups benefit most from consistent standards, shared documentation and one view across the estate.
What does a review involve?
A visit, a look at the equipment and layout, conversations with the people who deal with the problems, and a written summary with priorities and costs.
Do you also build software for hotels?
We build operational software where a property has a process that no product covers properly. It is not the starting point, and we will say if it is not needed.
