Systems integration, Ireland

Stop making your people move information between systems.

A surprising amount of business time is spent carrying data from one screen to another. It is slow, it introduces mistakes, and it is invisible on every report you look at.

The daily cost of disconnected systems

01

Orders typed twice

An order arrives in one system and someone retypes it into another. Every mistake starts here.

02

Stock nobody agrees on

The shop, the warehouse and the accounts each hold a different number and everyone has a favourite.

03

Finance reconciling by hand

A month end that depends on exports, lookups and one person's spreadsheet.

04

Customers asking you for updates

The information exists. It just cannot get to the person who needs it without a phone call.

05

Reports built from exports

Any number that requires a manual export is a number that is already out of date.

06

People as the integration layer

The most expensive way to move data between two systems is to pay a person to do it.

What we connect

The systems the business already runs on.

We are not trying to move you onto something new. We are trying to make what you have behave like one system.

Finance and ERPSage, AccountsIQ and similar systems. Invoices, customers, products and postings kept in step.
EcommerceShopify and other storefronts. Orders in, stock and fulfilment out.
Product informationAkeneo and other PIM systems, so product data has one home.
Operations and warehousePicking, dispatch, labelling and delivery information moving without retyping.
Hospitality systemsPMS, POS and booking platforms sharing the information the property needs.
PaymentsCharging at the point the order is placed, including manual and one off orders.
Messaging, including WhatsAppConfirmations, updates and reminders in the channel your customers and staff already use.
Bespoke and internal systemsOlder internal applications and databases included, not written off.
Quick ask

Tell us what gets retyped.

Name the two systems and what moves between them by hand. That is usually where the fastest return is.

How we do it

Boring, documented and reliable.

Integration is only useful if the business can stop checking it. That is the standard we build to.

01
Map the flow
What information moves, who needs it, how often and what happens today when it does not arrive.
02
Agree the rules
Which system is the source of truth for each field. Most integration problems are really decision problems.
03
Build the link
A supported connection with sensible retries, so a temporary outage does not become a data problem.
04
Watch it
Alerting and a visible record of what moved. Silent failure is the thing that destroys trust.
Two real examples

What connected actually looks like

  1. 01
    Shopify
    Customer places the order
  2. 02
    Akeneo
Product data comes from one home
  3. 03
    Sage
    Order and invoice posted once
  4. 04
    Back out
Stock and status returned to the store

Retailer, distributor and accounts

We built the integration connecting a major retailer's Shopify store with their distributor's Akeneo product information system and Sage accounting. Orders route automatically, product data has one source, and reconciliation stops being a manual job.

Orders, payments and WhatsApp in one flow

Ballypatrick Stallions in Co. Tipperary ran on calls and messages. We gave them one view of every order, payment taken at the point of order, and WhatsApp automation so reminders reach the right staff member and the customer without anybody chasing.

Questions we get asked

Our systems have no proper way to connect. Is it still possible?

Usually yes. Modern systems have APIs. Older ones can often be integrated through database access, scheduled files or a small purpose built layer. We will tell you which approach applies and what the trade offs are.

Would it be simpler to replace both systems?

Occasionally, and if that is genuinely the better commercial answer we will say so. Far more often, connecting what is already working is faster, cheaper and much less disruptive.

What happens when one system is unavailable?

That is part of the design. Work queues, retries and alerts mean information is delivered when the system returns instead of quietly disappearing.

Who owns the integration afterwards?

You do. We document it and we can support it. Nothing is hidden inside a black box that only we can open.

Can you build the reporting on top?

Yes. Once information moves reliably, reporting stops being a weekly manual exercise and becomes something the system produces.

Can you integrate WhatsApp rather than email?

Yes, and for some businesses it is the difference between a system being used and being ignored. We have built order confirmations, staff task reminders and customer updates over WhatsApp where that is genuinely where the business already talks to people.

Do you charge for the initial assessment?

A short first conversation is free. If a proper mapping exercise is needed we will scope it and agree it with you before any work starts.
